Weeks of Nov. 17 -21 and Nov. 24 -26

Hello!
I am looking forward to meeting with all of you for parent teacher conferences. It was wonderful for children how we can all work as a team to benefit them!

In reading we are reading the Kamishibai Man and will soon start Young Thomas Edison. We have done many activities on inventions and the computer has been a helpful device as we venture through this unit.

In math the flashcards were sent home and so many kids brought them back with parents signatures!! Way to go! We will continue to learn our facts for a few more weeks.

In science, we are studying food chains. This is a really fun unit and the children enjoy finding animal that eat other animals.

Spelling for this week: ( long i)
slight, mild, sight, pie, mind, tie, pilot, might, lie, tight, blind, fight, and die.

There will be No spelling the week of Nov. 24 -26.

Happy Thanksgiving!
