Week of October 20 - 24

Hello!
We will continue with our MAPS testing on Tuesday and Thursday this week. It can be a long and draining test so be sure your child eats a good breakfast.

Reading - Roberto Clemente

Math - We are beginning our graph unit.

Science - The children will start Physical science with Mr. Leintz on Wednesday.

Spelling words for the week: ( short vowel sounds) crop, plan, thing, smell, shut, sticky, spent, lunch, pumpkin, clock, gift, class, skip,and swing

Our Halloween party will be Friday afternoon, Oct. 31. A note will be sent home as to what the boys should bring. The girls will bring treats for the Valentine's Day party.

Hello!

In reading this week we are reading Pop's Bridge. Look for that story to come home with your child.

In Math we are working on subtraction.
